Last updated 30 August 2026
The Curly Parlour collects only what it needs to book your appointment and care for your hair well. This page explains what that means in practice.
What is collected
- Booking details — your name, phone number, email address and the service you have booked.
- Hair and care notes — what was done at previous appointments, products used, and anything you have told us about your hair, so your next visit builds on the last.
- Payment information — handled by our booking and payment provider. The Curly Parlour does not store your card details.
How it is used
Your information is used to confirm and manage your appointments, to contact you about a booking, and to provide care that suits your hair. If you have opted in, it may also be used to send occasional studio updates. You can opt out of those at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
Who it is shared with
Your information is not sold, and it is not shared for marketing by anyone else. It is shared only with the service providers who make the studio work — our appointment booking and payment platform, and our email provider — and only to the extent they need it.
How long it is kept
Client records are kept while you are an active client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a returning client’s hair history is not lost. You can ask for your records to be deleted at any time.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@thecurlyparlour.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
This website
This site does not run advertising trackers. Booking is handled by our booking provider, and when you follow a booking link you are subject to that provider’s own privacy terms.
The Curly Parlour handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If something here concerns you, please raise it with us directly first — we would rather hear about it and fix it.
