These terms cover the use of this website and the services offered by The Curly Parlour, a hair studio based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Services

All services are provided by appointment. Service descriptions and durations on this site and on our booking page are a guide: textured hair varies enormously, and the time and product a style actually takes depends on your hair’s length, density and condition. Where a service will differ meaningfully from what was booked, this is discussed with you before work begins.

Results and hair health

Every service is carried out with care for the health of your natural hair. Results depend on the condition your hair arrives in, your hair history, and how you care for it afterwards. Aftercare guidance is given with every service and following it matters. No specific styling outcome or growth result is guaranteed.

Bookings, deposits and cancellations

Bookings are governed by the Booking Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Pricing

Prices are shown on our booking page and are current at the time of booking. Where a service requires materially more time or product than the booked service allows, any additional cost is discussed and agreed with you before it is incurred.

Health and disclosure

Please tell us before your appointment about any scalp condition, allergy, sensitivity or recent chemical treatment. This matters for your safety and for the result. The Curly Parlour is not a medical service and does not diagnose or treat scalp or skin conditions; where something warrants it, you will be encouraged to see a doctor or dermatologist.

Information here is provided in good faith and kept as accurate as we can, but it is general in nature and not personal hair or health advice.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published here at the time of your booking is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Nothing here excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
